Yet another entrepreneur, burned during the last downturn, in a hurry to sell this time around. Mike Speiser ended up suing Bill Gurley of Benchmark Capital and other backers of his last company, Epinions. His newest venture, Bix, a fun online contest site, is being taken out by Yahoo just 10 months after it was founded. The announcement's coming today, and Miguel Helft got the jump on the story. Bix had raised $6.5m just this August, about the same time it launched its service. Bill Gurley, eat your heart out.
