Mihai Parparita, at Google Reader, has been working on a personalized stats page for the search engine's blog reading service. It shows, among other things, how often a reader actually dips into a source to which they're subscribed. Which, if shared, could be very sobering data for bloggers, many of whom live in hope that, beyond measurable site visitors, they have vast uncounted audiences. We're flattered that, among Mihai's feeds, Valleywag has a 97% open rate. I'm not sure his boss would approve of his reading habits, however.
