1. go to http://maps.google.com
2. search for, say, "sex addicts"
3. choose a listing
4. hit the call button
5. when prompted for a number, enter the hated one's digits
6. perfect evil snicker

  • Or perhaps with a little zabasearch action have people with names matching corporate leaders connected to their companies. For example, having Nick Denton of Crossville, Alabama connected to Gawker Media HQ. Fun ensues ...

  • How many prank calls did you set up for Calacanis with this feature?

  • hmm, nothing in the help section about this: yes, when elgoog calls you back you will see the number of the business that you are calling on your caller ID (to enable quick saving etc) - BUT since the call is multidirectional via elgoog's servers, will they also see your number? any tips of using call block with this? maybe a case for using jangl.com?

  • "What if someone enters my phone number instead of theirs as a prank call?"

"Google takes fraud and spamming very seriously. We use technical methods to prevent future prank calls from the same user within a reasonable period of time. You won't be charged for any such calls. Please contact adwords-support[*at*]google.com if you believe someone is entering your phone number without your permission or knowledge."

  • How about having a John Smith Call another John Smith... or have a Christen church call a Satanic church...
