Lucy's been outed. The lady who won Larry Page's heart was named by the New York Post as "Lucy Southworth." Sez the Post, the bright young Stanford student has degrees from the the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford. She's done medical work in South Africa and "wants to better the world."
But there's a tidbit that somehow didn't make it into the Post — the Southworth family is connected to the Bushes. In 2005, Lucy's sister Carrie married high into Bush staff. Her husband (Coddy Johnson) worked as the national field director for Bush's 2004 campaign. It's not a new family connection — Coddy's dad roomed with Bush at Yale.
Man, if Page is as liberal as he seems, that's gotta be one awkward Thanksgiving dinner.

Forget Thanksgiving, what about when Larry tells Lucy they need to swing by Eric's place for a Hillary Clinton fundraiser? Lucy will probably ask how much napalm they need to bring for the buffet.
At least she's pretty, which is more than anyone can say about Sergey's girlfriend, Anne Wojcicki.
I think Anne Wojcicki is very classy. Why isnt Valleywag doing a contest with her?
She's not classy. Does she even work for a living, or does she spend all of her time following Sergey around? They haven't done a contest with her because no one cares enough about her to make it worth the effort. Why didn't the NY Post write an article about her as they did Lucy S.? What would they even write? "Ms. Wojcicki spends her days using Brin's credit cards and waiting for a ring."
Well at least SOMEONE uses his credit card as Brin is so tight with money his butt squeaks. Hasnt he heard of the trickle down theory?
He's allowed to be "tight" with it -- he earned it. What gives her the right to spend, spend, spend? What has she ever done?
Well, back to Lucy. I know from a friend that Lucy pays her own way when she goes out to eat with Larry even though she is living on nothing herself. She says she doesnt want to get used to being with someone with money ...which is probably a good thing seeing that Google stock is going down.

Lucy looks average but he really loves her. This marriage will last for life. This is not a Hollywood type marriage. As for Anne, Sergey has known her for a long time and he trusts her. Trusts is more valuable and priceless than the most beautiful woman in the world. Anne is smart, she knows how to use her talents. She is honest enough to know her talent is not beauty.
