    Bing ends with a whimper

Eric HahnEric Hahn's new venture, Bing Technology, has folded. The former Netscape CTO, who has also funded companies such as Zimbra and Lookout Software set up the five-person startup last year. But the reaction of testers, to the company's peer-to-peer backup service, was lukewarm. According to one of the former employees, the startup has shut down and returned remaining funds to its investors. More entrepreneurs should do the same. Of course, it's easier to acknowledge failure for a serial entrepreneur like Hahn, for whom this is, in the grand scheme of things, a minor embarrassment. [Via Renaissance Chambara.]
