A user going by the name of preachertom has been astroturfing — submitting links in a simulation of grassroots enthusiasm — sites such as Metafilter and Netscape.com. Every single article suggested is from Business Week. I'm not sure what would be more reprehensible: the discovery that preachertom, who claims to be a Lutheran minister, is acting on behalf of the hype-mongering business magazine; or that he is an independent agent and a genuine enthusiast for that thinnest of business bibles.
